Cookie Policy
Last updated: 4 October 2026
In short
- Our website asks before any analytics cookie is set. Decline, and none ever is.
- The app only sets what it needs to keep you signed in and safe, plus a few preferences you choose, like the theme.
- No advertising cookies and no cross-site tracking, anywhere.
- Change your mind at any time with the Cookie choices link at the bottom of every page of our website.
This box is a summary. The full policy below is what applies.
What cookies and similar storage are
A cookie is a small file a website stores in your browser. Websites also keep information in your browser's local storage and session storage, and browser extensions in their own extension storage. This policy covers all of these, because the law treats them alike: storage that is strictly necessary for a service you asked for needs no consent, and any other storage needs your consent first.
On our website, www.opusend.com
| Name | Set by | What it is for | Kind | How long |
|---|---|---|---|---|
op_consent (local storage) | Opusend | Remembers whether you accepted or declined analytics, so we do not ask on every page | Strictly necessary | Until you press Cookie choices or clear your browser's storage |
_ga | Google Analytics | Tells one visitor from another, to count visits | Analytics, only after you press Accept | 2 years |
_ga_<id> | Google Analytics | Keeps the state of a visit | Analytics, only after you press Accept | 2 years |
__cf_bm, cf_clearance | Cloudflare | Tell people from bots and protect the site from attacks. Set only when Cloudflare's protection needs them | Strictly necessary | __cf_bm: 30 minutes; cf_clearance: as long as Cloudflare's challenge setting allows |
How the consent works. Google's analytics tag is not loaded until you press Accept. Before you answer, and if you press Decline, your browser sends no request to Google at all, and no analytics cookie is written. If you press Accept, the tag loads, and Google Analytics may set the cookies above and count your visits; on your next visits, your stored answer loads it straight away. We never ask Google for advertising storage or personalisation, and we keep those denied.
Cloudflare may also measure traffic with its Web Analytics, which sets no cookies.
In the app, app.opusend.com
| Name | Set by | What it is for | Kind | How long |
|---|---|---|---|---|
__Host-better-auth.session_token | Opusend | Keeps you signed in. It cannot be read by page scripts and is sent only to app.opusend.com | Strictly necessary | 7 days, renewed while you use the app; removed when you sign out |
__Host-better-auth.state | Opusend | Protects a Google sign-in while it is in progress | Strictly necessary | 5 minutes |
__cf_bm, cf_clearance | Cloudflare | As on our website | Strictly necessary | As on our website |
Preferences (local storage, names beginning op) | Opusend | Remember the choices you make in the app: light or dark theme, text size, which columns and cards you show and in what order, notices you dismissed | Strictly necessary for the feature you chose | Until you clear your browser's storage |
opusendEnt (session storage) | Opusend | Keeps your plan's last known answer for this tab, so a brief network failure does not lock you out | Strictly necessary | Until the tab is closed |
The app sets no analytics or advertising cookies, and loads no Google Analytics.
In the Chrome extension
The extension sets no cookies. It keeps your settings, a copy of your CRM, queued work, local backups and a short log of its own steps in the browser's extension storage, which only the extension can read. If you connect Gmail, the Google access token is kept there too. All of it is strictly necessary for the extension to work, and stays until you clear it in Settings, Data, or remove the extension.
Your choices
- The Cookie choices link in the footer of every page on www.opusend.com brings the banner back, so you can accept or decline again. Declining after you accepted stops analytics storage from then on; to remove cookies already set, clear them in your browser.
- Your browser's settings let you see, block and delete cookies and site data. Blocking strictly necessary cookies on app.opusend.com stops you from signing in.
What we do with the data these cookies collect is in our Privacy Policy. Questions: [email protected].
