Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: 4 October 2026
In short
- Use Opusend for honest, relevant, one-to-one B2B outreach, and nothing else.
- Follow the rules of the platforms you use and the anti-spam and data protection laws of the people you contact. That is your responsibility, not ours.
- No spam, no deception, no harassment, and stop when someone asks you to.
- Collect only what you need for your own outreach. No scraping beyond your own use, and no reselling data.
- If you break these rules, we may suspend or close your account.
This box is a summary. The full policy below is what applies.
1. Scope
This policy is part of our Terms of Service. It applies to everyone who uses Opusend under your account, and to everything sent, collected or stored with it. Words defined in the Terms have the same meaning here.
2. The platforms you use
- Follow the terms of every platform you use with Opusend, including the LinkedIn User Agreement and Professional Community Policies, the rules of LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Google's terms for your Google account and Gmail. Read them: some limit or forbid automated activity, and you decide whether and how to use Opusend's automation in light of them.
- Use only your own accounts, each held by the person it belongs to. Do not use Opusend on an account you are not allowed to use, a fake account, or an account a platform has restricted.
- Do not try to get around a platform's limits, warnings, checkpoints or captchas, or Opusend's own daily limits, working hours and automatic stops.
3. Lawful, honest outreach
- Comply with the anti-spam, electronic marketing and ePrivacy rules of every country you contact people in. The rules differ from country to country: in Germany, for example, an unsolicited advertising email generally needs the recipient's prior consent even when they are a business contact, and across the European Union a marketing email must not hide who sent it and must give a valid address to opt out.
- Contact people only in their professional capacity, about something relevant to their work, and from your real identity.
- No spam: no bulk unsolicited messages, no purchased or harvested email lists, no misleading sender names, subject lines or claims, and no hiding who you are or why you write.
- Honour every opt-out and objection at once, keep honouring it, and use Opusend's blacklist to make sure the person is not contacted again.
- Read every AI draft before it is sent. Do not send anything false, misleading, defamatory, discriminatory, harassing, threatening or obscene, or anything that infringes someone else's rights.
- Do not impersonate any person or organisation, and do not claim a client, a result or a relationship you do not have.
4. Data about the people you contact
- Comply with the GDPR and other data protection laws for the prospects you collect and contact: have a lawful basis, tell them what the law requires, and answer their requests.
- Collect and keep only the data you need for your own business outreach, and delete what you no longer need.
- Do not use Opusend to scrape LinkedIn or any other site beyond your own use, to build, sell, rent or share a contact database, or to feed another product or service.
- Do not put into Opusend special categories of personal data (such as health, religion, political opinions or sexual orientation), data about criminal offences, data about children, or government identifiers, payment card numbers or passwords other than those Opusend asks for.
5. The Service itself
- Do not probe, scan or test the security of the Service without our written permission, except to report a vulnerability in good faith to [email protected].
- Do not overload, disrupt or reverse engineer the Service, access it by automated means other than the extension and app we provide, or use it to send malware.
- Do not share a seat, resell the Service, or use it to build a competing product.
- Do not use the Service in breach of sanctions or export control laws, or for anything unlawful.
6. If the rules are broken
We may investigate suspected breaches, and remove content or suspend or close an account as section 16 of the Terms allows. Where the law or a platform requires it, we may report a breach to the relevant authority or platform. You are responsible for your users' compliance with this policy, and section 15 of the Terms (your indemnity) applies to breaches of it.
7. Reporting abuse
If you received a message sent with Opusend that you believe breaks this policy, tell us at [email protected] with the message and the sender, and we will look into it.
